A bit of barrel distortion, there are programs to correct, but liquify filter can do it too if you are careful.

I have taken this same shot, It is very hard to get a true sense of the deep repeating space. Your pic is like many of mine. I think in the prefect world scenario you could bring a bag of lights and make it real dimensional. But alas we can't.

Nice framing, angle, subject, and exposure.

Using warp correction in Photoshop corrects this barrel problem

2 minute quick job as an example

I took the cowards way out and went around the other side :)

Thanks, I did not know Photoshop had that

Goto select all - then edit>transform>warp

Drag around the "bars" 'til you're there.

Flip the image for "mid" distortions etc

Before and after using "warp"

i do not decry your critique……. to me the lens distortion on the jamb does not detract as the subject as the statue which has a good balance of light and the right exposure… the subject is not the framing….a 15 inch by 12 inch print of this image hangs on different walls in the same room of someone’s house as the Vishnu full frontal
