Phuket Tesco-lotus Shopping Trolleys A Disgrace!

I'm sure many of you, like me, go to stock up on comestibles at Tesco-Lotus once a week.

I need one of the push-a-long trolleys to hold all my purchases, as I buy a weeks supplies at one time.

It seems that no matter which trolley I select and check, within minutes it usually developes a wonky wheel (for some reasom, always the rear off-side one). This vibrates noisily and makes steering very difficult.

Why, only last week, I saw an accident between two trolleys in the soft-drinks aisle, one of which was caused due to a loss of low speed steering attributable to the ubiquitous malfunctioning rear wheel and I think the other trolley may have been speeding. Needless to say, it was not a pretty sight.

I have complained to Tesco-Lotus management and asked them if they have a planned schedule for trolley maintenance, but, I was given the brush off.

I feel that if enough of us complain, Tesco-Lotus management can't ignore this issue forever. One day there is going to be a serious accident and someone is going to get hurt.

Anyway, I have found a temporary fix to the problem of malfuctioning trolleys which I will share with you and should prove useful if you should ever find youself stuck with one and far from a replacement.

I have found that if you shift the heavier items in your trolley over the affected wheel, this does help somewhat with fine steering at slow speeds.

To get to the root of the problem though, I urge all shoppers at Tesco-Lotus who find themselves stuck with a sub-standard trolley to complain.

Don't forget, there is strength in numbers.
