If that's the sort of restraint holds they use here, no wonder the bugger slipped away and bolted from his apartment. In other countries, your hands are jerked so far up between your shoulder blades, it makes your eyes water and escape isn't an option. harrry Posted May 16, 2009 Share Posted May 16, 2009 (edited) A similar thing hapened some years ago to a much better looking girlfriend of a hostel friend of mine in Callcutta. She ended up taking all her clothes off and climbing on the roof of Mother Teresas hospice, They got her down and got her to put some clothes on and got her back to the hostel. There she did the same thing so the staff helped us to get a doctor and slip her a knock out drug and get her to hospital. Depression, chemical imbalance, or mental illness is not what one asked for - I do hope he gets some professional help. barky Posted May 20, 2009 Share Posted May 20, 2009 This morning I saw a young farang (maybe in his late 20 or early 30) being escorted into Dongtan Beach Police station - hancuffed and totally naked. Local news reporters with their cameras were there taking pictures. He looked so sad and humiliated. I'm not sure what this man has done and was guilty of, but couldn't the police let this man put his pants on? and NOT parade him in public in such a humiliating way?
