May 18, 200917 yr Hi All My mate is traveliing with Etihad Airways next week and he asked me if they were child friendly and I cannot answer him as I have never flown them. I have read the posts on here about Etihad and the good deals that they have at present. All airlines will receive both good and bad reviews BUT are they child friendly is the question. He has one boy aged 4 and one girl aged 6. Cheers all.

May 18, 200917 yr Yes, Etihad are very 'child friendly' whatever that is/means..!?!? from my experience, rarely do they put children in the hold or strap em to the wing.. if i where you, i'd re-assure your friend that his kids will definately be ok with this airline..
May 18, 200917 yr I have allways found airlines to be child friendly, the big question is; are the kids other passenger friendly
May 19, 200917 yr As flight crew for Etihad I can assuredly say that we are child friendly with games, toys, and other goodies to keep the children entertained as well as a pretty IFE system with kids movies and games. Just make sure when making your reservation to order child meals and have a message sent from your travel agent that you are traveling with children, or better yet ring them yourself.
May 19, 200917 yr No, they are not child friendley. maybe you could go by cruise ship instead. drive down to Singapore, then get a cruise ship to dubai with royal caribbean cruise lines. from dubai, go by land to beirut where you can then get a ferry to Greece. then you can get a train connecting a few times to Paris, then you can take that chunnel to london. i'm sure you will find lots of people thrilled to take care of your kids. much better than dealing with an airline for 12 hours. please post a trip reportr of how it all went in a few months.
May 19, 200917 yr from my experience, rarely do they put children in the hold or strap em to the wing.. Only when they are training them as camel jockeys...
