Just Saw A New Cadillac Escallade

Featured Replies

Yesterday I saw a new (probably) shiny black Cadillac Escallade SUV as it cruised by me on route 317 near Chanthaburi.

This is the first Cadillac I've seen here, except for those the Royal Family has.

Any idea what that cost some obviously very well-healed guy? My guess is about 3 times the cost in the states :) . Can't be too many of those great Northstar 32 valve V8s over here.

I saw one at the cambo side with cambo plates. It could be the same?

That's got to be the Thai motoring non-event of the year!

with a bit of anorak thrown in for good measure?

All photos of The Thai Royal Family driving I have seen are in Rolls Royces not Cadillacs, I believe you are confused because the grills are somewhat similar.

As for the price of this car, its probably about 250-300% mark up from the American price, just like every other car here.

his royal highness was a passenger in a soft top caddie at his sisters funeral or some other big television event earlier this year maybe birthday , yellow and ugly like all cadillacs before, there is no comparison to a rolls royce, british or german engineered

That why GM are bust.

Less than 2000cc is 2,87 times. Over 3000cc and 220 hp is almost double, approx 5 times. :)
