Work Permit Extension Documentation

Hi

I'm an Australian engineer working for small Thai company (30 employees) in Northern Thailand.

I hope someone here can clarify the documentation required for a work permit extension. I have been told that only an application form signed by the company plus a valid visa are required.

Could this be true or are a full set of documents required eg tax records, balance sheet, list of employees etc.

This will be my fifth yearly extension (same job, same province) but previously we employed a lawyer for the visa and work permit extensions. To save some money, this year I must do it myself.

Yes a lot more documentation is requried,

Here is a link to download a file that has all the requirements plus copies of all the forms in Thai and english.

It is a big file so it will take some time to download.
