zorock Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Hi I'm an Australian engineer working for small Thai company (30 employees) in Northern Thailand. I hope someone here can clarify the documentation required for a work permit extension. I have been told that only an application form signed by the company plus a valid visa are required. Could this be true or are a full set of documents required eg tax records, balance sheet, list of employees etc. This will be my fifth yearly extension (same job, same province) but previously we employed a lawyer for the visa and work permit extensions. To save some money, this year I must do it myself. TIA for any help.
ubonjoe Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Yes a lot more documentation is requried, Here is a link to download a file that has all the requirements plus copies of all the forms in Thai and english. It is a big file so it will take some time to download. http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/redirect.php...%2FForm_tt2.pdf Edit: I have extracted only the pages in english so it is a lot smaller now. work_permit_forms_2.pdf
