Downloading Ubctv Schedule

Featured Replies

I was out of the country for 2 months and the url to download their schedule zip file doesn't seem to work any longer. The last time I downloaded the schedule was in March. Here is the url I have been using http://www.ubctv.com/Schedule/downloadFiles/ubcschedule.zip

Does anyone else download their schedule?

Any assistance would be appreciated. :)

I used to.

True have rewritten their web site (in "flash" so it uses 90+% CPU continuously), no longer provide the link to 'ubcschedule.zip', have told me via email that it is no longer available and apparently couldn't give a toss for their customers who still want it.

Please write to them via the "Contact Us" page on their web site. It works insofar as all messages get read by someone and I nearly always get a response. However, the last message I sent them - again about 'ubcschedule.zip' - was not responded to by them, so I guess they've got fed up and the false face that they wear (beautifully epitomised by the crap at the bottom of their emails: "We are so grateful for your trust in our service and support us all time. Write us again whenever we can be of further help to you") has given way to the normal response of... no response.

I have written about this in other topics: http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/True-Vision-...t&p=2739197

I hope they go bust ASAP. A pox on them, their families, and any other businesses associated with them.

I found another way of getting their schedule. It isn't as convenient as the download but it will work.

Here is the link then go to "channel" and select HBO. Press Search.

New site and new problems. If you want English you will find the "button" on the lower right of the page.

The link I provided goes directly to the next step and the information is in English.

I'd like to know whether the ubcschedule.zip file is used to create the schedule on the web site, as the web site search results do look very similar to the plain text listings in the schedule file.

The problem with the web site is that it is in 'flash', and I can't find a way of copying it. Even if I did, the process would have to be repeated 2,845 times to get the full months data - all of which used to be available for download in one plain text file.

So in summary, the web site is now fukced, the search results can't be copied, the results presented per page are a minute fraction of the total and they don't provide a download function. A pox on this pathetic company run by a bunch of highly paid idiots whose fathers probably bought them their jobs.
