I will be in Samui for a month or so starting this week and I am looking for some football games or organised training. Does anyone know of anything I could get involved in?

I can travel around the island so no issue about location.

I have always been involved in football teams and have a lot of experience, if that matters at all.

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated!

You will have just missed out on a trip down south to Song Kla that Tropical Murphy's are arranging, but if you pop in there or the Irish Times, the managers should be able to point you in the right direction. I think there is a league and limited training goes on. You would probably get a game with the locals at any given evening down at the lake.

i belive they paly at blue water school , which is more or less opposite the irish times

Sunday near the Wat plai laem in Chong mon they have football matches going on al day. Its Thai teams but I'm sure you could get a kick about

There is a Tuesday & Wednesday League at Bluewater, currently on a Concrete Pitch but a new Astor Turf ( for wnat of a better technical Term ) is being laid during the School Half Term, also Training every Friday night there where you can just turn up & play...
