I was wondering what type of procedures Thailand has set up for training what we in the US call 'first-responders' -basically just locals who take care of the patient before the ambulance arrives. I'm also curious about the ambulance personnel themselves- are they medics and what type of training do they have? In the US, I believe it's just a one year course, available to anyone who finished high school, but I'm not sure. Thanks for any info.
