Anyone know where I can find a list of exotic animals permitted for import into Thailand? I'd like to bring in a fox offered by a Canadian friend. Thanks :)

CITES laws for species international trade; google for it....also the thai regulations from the thai vet services, maybe located at suvanabhum airport?, i think its pinned somewhere ? if not, i think nignoy knows this sort of thing.

also, foxes stink a sort of musky fetid smell; they are sort of like keeping a cat mixed with dog as far as health concerns and personality are concerned; and where would u keep it... we raised israeli desert foxes in our previous petting zoo on the kibbutz (they were hand fed, therefore approachable and pettable) and they got dead fresh kill and dog food mixed together with hard boiled eggs and shells, some veggies and fruits, and a good set up for them to climb up, hide under, dig in etc...

but why on earth would u want to keep a fox in thailand??

first chihuahua breeding? now a fox as a pet? .... have u thought about setting up a small 'petting zoo'? rabbits, hand raised pigeons (have one living in our house at this precise moment sitting on anon's shoulder watching sports together, he seems to get on with the lhasas very well), that sort of thing? u seem to be looking for an animal based something or other for u and your partner, so why not try with easier things, maybe even a ferret or two? that would u give u the feeling of taking care of animals, also maybe a business venture, and manageable?

but maybe im off the mark??
