Hi,

Does anyone have any idea why UBC as of 1st June have dropped BBC Entertainment?

It has been replaced with AXN Beyond full of second rate America TV Series like Ripleys believe it or Not.

I for one will miss the superb BBC Dramas especially on a rainy day.

Not a good move on UBC's part.

What do other TV Members think.

UBC Rip off - Where is the competition

Lets us see good drama , good sports apart from football ( rugby ) , good documentaries without endless repeated adverts etc etc

I pay for it as there isn't much choice - If you have children the disney/cartoon channels are OK even though everything is endlessly repeated .

There are other options but seem to be very expensive at this time - Bring on internet TV .

It does seem to be a reduction in quality and probably price for True Visions. It could also be that BBC entertainment wasnt viewed by many. Oddly enough it was my (Thai) wife's favorite channel.

UBC is a fuc_king disgrace, I loved BBC. Judge John Deed, Little Britain, The Catherine Tate show, Spooks, so many more.

I find the quality so crappy as well, toons are good for my daughters though. Disney channel extra package is very good.

I for one will miss the Strictly Come Dancing. It was a relief to know that I could watch a 2 year old repeat of any time I flicked onto the channel. Why oh why etc...
