The white back building is totally washed out as well as the super hot reflection on the table in foreground.

My guess is Vulcan wanted the girl to be the only noticeable item. I think a few things like the incomlete name on the building take from this.

Quite liked the original pic. Nice bit of red in the centre of the pic to draw your attention in, which often works well in a photo.
