Permanent Hair Removal

Featured Replies

I'm male and thinking/hoping to hear about permanent hair removal in Bangkok.

Chest? Back? Around the ringpiece? (fed up of pooing through a tennis racket!)

Costs? Drawbacks?

Cheers

I'm against getting nearly any surgical procedure done in Thailand however I know some people who have had success at the various high end clinics you see in the Phrom Pong and Siam Paragon areas. They currently call it, Laser hair removal. I forgot the cost but it seemed reasonable, I don't know about the ringpiece as you say but I suppose for the right price anything is possible. You can't just go once because hair grows in cycles, typically it takes a minimum of 4 monthly sessions to get rid of all the hair.

I also would like to hear from anyone who has undergone the laser treatment. Have had back waxed a couple of times, now have a bloody forest seems like the waxing stimulated the re-growth, have booked a trip to BKK for early September and was hoping to include a first treatment. Words of wisdom please.

I had it done on my legs aboiyut 10 years ago. Happy with the results but it did take 5 treatments at 2 month intervals so in effect is a year long process, which m aynot work well if you are coming on a one time visit.

Beware of any place that tells you it is OK to have the 5 treatm ents closer together than 2 months, they either dobn't kno what they are talking about or don't care. Hair grows in cycles and to getoptimum results the sessions need to be timed accordingly.

Yes, I am totally agree with you, hair remove need more than 1 treatment, beacuse our hair have growth cycle, and I think use IPL machine to remove the unwanted hair is more effective and less pain than laser, how do you think?
