Girl Friendly Hotel

Suppose for the purpose of political correctness this thread should be titled "Guest Friendly Hotels" or "Avoiding The Hotel Un-registed Guest Rip Off".

In reality the best hotels are the ones that will register your guest for free, so if you do have issue they will at least have noted her ID details.

For what it is worth, I knew the security guy's at a top London hotel, they used to watch the Arabs check in wearing their traditional "Dishdashah", they would quickly change into casual European attire, straight out on the town and arrive back latter with company, this is where timing was the trick, when security knocked on their door and were let in or used their pass key they would inadvertently find the "Lady" starker's on the bed, they would stay in the room while she dressed and would escort her off the premisses (assuming that the unregistered guest was female).

stumbled on this thread when doing my search for a hotel, but then I found another site which beats all the lists I have seen before, so I'll share it here:

cheers guys , plenty to look at there, think it will be the diana or queen vic then :)

There's no pool at the Queen Vic.

Try Welcome Plaza, opposite Royal Garden Plaza, about 800 Baht a night.

Or Areca Lodge Soi Diana about 1,300 Baht.

Or even Diana Inn or Apex next door, don't konw their current rates.

hi guys & girls , no ! what i should of said was ( i am actually a guy ) & am looking for a decent hotel resonably priced with a pool & they dont mind you bringing female company back to the room , should i get lucky LOL :)

cheers ( sorry 4 the missunderstanding )

i used to use the opey de place near lk metro, good rooms pool, on baht bus route, loads of drinking places on the door step and pool. in Pattaya i dont think there is such a thing as a non girl friendly hotel. its around your budget and across the road from what is for me the best breakfast for the money in pattaya 99 baht. should you get lucky well its very much low season and you dont really get a choice at the moment. odds at least 30-1 in favour of finding future wife.

all the times i stayed there was with wife but it was obviously girl friendly as you say.

if you do tak estrangers back to room use safe if there are no room safes they only cost 800 baht to buy, there seems to be a misonnseption that a copy of s strangers id and cctv means 100% safty, when in fact it prtects you against nothing. take a girls id into soi 9 and say this girl robbed me and they will shrug shoulders and say and, ot why you take this girl to your room, be carefull with that answer. cctv well that shows a poor quality picture of a small brown haired girl walking to or from room, again soi 9 guys will laugh at it.

Why so big on the pool - are you intending to give swimming lessons to your female companions :)

I always insist on a pool - it is easy to get enjoyable exersise every single day and cool down as well.

Sure its not an excuse to wear a eurothong :D

Do you think the OP hung on for 2 years then? :whistling:

Well spotted, he probably still hasn't left the hotel!!!

Anyway wouldn't the list be shorter if we listed the hotels that a NOT guest friendly?

Probably shorter in Thailand, but the negative list would have to be exhaustive, and this would require way too much work.
