Sterling Silver has 92.5% Silver content - as does most Thai Silver, although in Thailand it is most often advertised as 925 or .925 Silver. Some Thai manufacturers offer 980 or even higher Grades but I think in most cases this is deliberately misleading and an Assay will show it is only the standard 925.
