I named this image “YUMI”

It’s a lifeless dummy, juvenile , blinkered to the world, and clearly embroiled in a comical attempt to enter adolescence by masquerading as macho man! :):D

Any resemblance to real life characters is purely intentional :D

Other facts:-

Canon 5D - 70-200@155mm - 400 iso - 1/60th @ f4 - flash

i might ad.... that sadly this is not an original thought... it was a comment from an australian polly in response to some inane comments from the opposition bench........which i found particularly funny and apt for this posters comments..........

the imageof the poster is another classic image of one without any visual idea......

You should know that in any creative pursuit like photography, levity is a major attribute to making a great artwork. Represented by the lightness of heart, spirit and being.

By comparison the mundane represented by a slave like approach to technique besotted photographic equipment makes bad pictures.

So lighten up……… and you might include an idea in your next photo

Hi 'yumidesign',

Thank you for your post. Being a layman in this field photography, but love it to bits, could you please in simple terms explain your above quote. This is not a joke nor a dig at you. :D

I have been enlighten by members on this forum including you btw. Looking forward to seeing more positive/negative posts. :)

(and Pun was intended) :D

Thanking you.

Yours truly,

Kan Win :D
