Ping River Level At Nawarat Bridge?

rebo

Recommended Posts

On the hydro-1.net site the third tab (greenish blue) in the middle of the page is the hourly water level at different points in the river.

The graph at the bottom of that page says overflow begins at 3.70m (as MM already said - well done!!) at 460 cubic metres per sec.

Latest level (6am) at Nawarat bridge is 2.02m at 136 cubic metres / sec.

it is updated more frequently when the river is very high.

Last night we had almost 20 cm of rain fall. Since we live in Saraphi which is actually a bowl (Once it’s filled via the ingenious road along the railway track it takes weeks to get rid of the water here) I’m quite concerned about Ping water level.

Unfortunately the website of the Office of Hydrology and Water Management (http://www.hydro-1.net/ Menu #6: Monitoring/Reports > 1st table: hourly water levels) is not updated.

Does anybody has info about the current level at Nawarat bridge?

Thanks.

I drove over the Nawarat bridge on my motorbike a couple of days ago and I could see that the river was very high, alsmost over flowing it`s banks.

It is rather concerning.

The situation two days ago may be of some historical interest, but today's figures suggest no immediate cause for concern. I happen to live a mere 50 metres from the river and I will be sleeping the sleep of innocent babes tonight. You're not a panic merchant are you?
