Sim Card Again

Featured Replies

I arrive for a month on Sunday and bring my phone with me. Last time I bought the 12call card for use in Thailand. Is this still the best option for a tourist?

Thanks

You have to read the plans. But the sim you have is as good as any.

There's an 'international' SIM available at 7-11.

As cheap as 1 Baht per minute to call overseas.

Maybe check that out on arrival.

Buy the inter sim from 7-11. Works well if you wish to call home and can be used for local calls too. If you still have your 12call sim, check the website and choose the plan that is best for you. The default plan is always the most expensive.

Thanks for that. I usually use the 12call for my trip then throw it away. I'll only want it for local calls in Thailand and some international sms to home. Skype and a calling card from NZ seems to do the rest for me

I still have my last 12call card but it is 18 months old and no recharge in that time so I guess it will be stuffed

cheers

Buy a 1-2 call sim from the 7 / 11 then call *777 and choose the option you want :) Had mine for yeas and no problems at all

Make sure the 12call sim is still valid too.

Yes very good option, just keep in mind your calling needs. :D:D:D:):D hope you have a wonderful month stay in Thailand(the land of smiles) :D
