Depends on the wether you need a hotel stay like most airlines do now between Australia and Thailand, Thai flys direct so no need for the hotel. It could be about the best price now available (if flying from Thailand, not the other way around). I did a quick comparison with a few others yesterday. Be aware no changes permitted to this ticket, but if you pay another 2,000 baht you step up to the next level and can make some changes (modest fee applies). Go to their web site to check this out.
