Hello all

I am Indonesian and work in Bangkok for already 2 year.

I just have my wedding 1 month ago in my country.

The problem is because of the time limit I can not manage to apply for Visa non O for my wife.

She already with me in Bkk right now

But then we need her to apply this new Visa non O (dependant to me)

The Question :

Can she apply this kind of Visa in Singapore, which mean not from the country where we came from?

As additional information, I have already invitation letter from my company and also our Wedding certificate legalized by our embassy in Bkk

Please kindly advice

Thanks

There are better and closer consulates and embassies that she could go to besides Singapore.

She should not have any problem getting a single entry non immigrant O visa as your dependent. She will need copies of your passport and visa/extension of stay pages and your marriage certificate.

You should contact the embassy in Singapore to confirm she will be able to get a visa there.

Website has contact info: http://www.thaiembassy.sg/

If you are on yearly extensions there will be no problem for her to get an extension as well as your dependend. I asume you are on extensions and not on a multiple entry non-B.

I have non immigrant B visa with multiple entry as well..

I need reference whether anybody have ever did this before.

As long as you are not on an extension of stay your wife can't get an extension of stay as well, only a non-O visa. Not sure if some consulates are willing to give a multiple non-O in this scenario.

Do you qualify for an extension of stay from immigraiton yourself? You would need to have an income of 35,000 a month and the company would need to qualify and be at least 2 years old.
