I'll give that 1% a pass. The lowest of the lowlives. The other 99% are a lot more fun :)

Ride On!

thailand is different ..that guy in the middle is a good friend of mine, hes an electrician and has 2 university degrees..and has six big bikes believe it or not....did you ever hear the old saying "never judge a book by its cover"

where is it?

^ Cheers Barry,

I understand what you're saying, but that pic above is representative of the entire series- have a look- it's all wanna be one percenters trying to look grim and tough. I found one smile in the whole series.

No doubt when they're out of uniform and in day clothes many of them are friendly and cheerful.

I'm sure you are aware that membership to this criminal gang is forbidden to Blacks and Hispanics. Do you really think they're going to let some little brown SE Asians join? If they play dress-up like that in the US they'll get themselves killed in no time.

Thailand and the Thai people are generally quite cheerful by nature, so this 'tough guy' act really doesn't come across are terribly genuine.

The smiles and friendliness at all of the Bike Weeks I've been to and the fact that everyone gets along so well regardless of what they ride are why I like the Thai biker scene so much.

Perfect example from Bang Saen-

Sportsbikes, Choppers, retros, scooters etc all riding together peacefully - Gotta love Thailand!

Happy Trails!

Tony

I don't think I would be too comfortable having a tattoo by someone who has "Welcom to hel_l"(notice spelling mistake!) on their front door. 1%, I don't know, many don't ride Harleys. I wish them success, if its' a good tattoo shop!

Ha ha ha!!! :D

I didn't even notice that typo- classic!

Attached to a bar right? So get drunk and get a tattoo by some fake Hells Angels who can't spell... Seems like a great place to get some ink done- NOT! :)

Seems like a good idea to have the tattoo artists wait for customers in the bar next door. I think it would be great to share a beer and have some laughs with a guy who is going to put permanent art on your body. Besides, what could possibly go wrong?

Went past it a week ago and it was empty.

Its very well positioned at the beach-end of the Soi and signage and lighting is distinctive/bright.

Hey, someone in Hua Hin just gave me an orange and yellow "Support Yout Local Bandidos" sticker- anyone want to slap it on their bike and park in front of the Red & White? Just to see how "supportive" they really are.

Before anyone freaks out, just kidding. :) But do these guys here realize what goes on in the US, Europe and Oz over these colors? A guy in the US got stabbed for wearing a "81 Support Crew" t-shirt into a bar where Outlaws were hanging out.

I'm glad that stuff doesn't happen here, but there's more to "81 Support Crew" than you might think.

I like the bar.

Never made to feel anything but very welcome.

2 bands every night. First one starts at 5:30p.m.

I like the music the company and watching the world go by.

Sorry, but I to have no idea what goes on (in Europe specifically) over these colours and <deleted> is '81 Support Crew".

Please explain

Dave(maybe I've led a sheltered life in Brixton)

^^ It's kind of a long story, but basically "support crews" are people who buy "support" t-shirts, belts, hats, stickers for their favorite MC - Hells Angels (81 - H is the 8th letter of the alphabet, A is the 1st). I know the Angels logo is copyrighted and only an Angel can wear the Death's Head patch or an HA patch, so a supporter has to wear something like "81 Support Crew" or "red and White Support Crew" (Angels colors). The other big clubs, Outlaws, Bandidos, Mongols, Pagans have the same thing going. Selling t-shirts, belts, hats, etc makes money for the club. And I guess it's a way for some people to feel "cool" without having to be a "hang-around" or "prospect" for the club- first steps in joining. Only problem is if say someone with a "red and white support crew" shirt walks into a bar where theres a few Mongols or Outlaws, big trouble. The clubs don't like each other. the Angels and Mongols fought it out in the middle of a Nevada casino a few years ago - it should still be on youtube. Anyway, they are all expanding worldwide, and they all have territories, don't like another club moving in. Lots of trouble in Denmark and Sweden right now. There was a case in England last year where the president of one of the UK Angels chapters was shot and killed by a couple of Outlaws on his way back from a bike weekend - Bulldog Festival (?). Just google Hells Angels - Mongols or Hells Angels - Outlaws if you want some entertaining reading.

Thanks for explaining things to a 'non club' type of person.
