ThaiLife
Taking a trip to khon kaen and wondered if there's a IT Mall type place there ..? Thanks
Lite Beer
There is a huge computer center. TukCom. Opposite Kosa Hotel. Next to the Pullman Hotel which is the tallest building in KK.
Gary A
There is actually a pretty good store across from the Kosa hotel. I think they call it Com City. Head for the hotel from Si Chan road. There is a Caltex station near Soi 4 but you want to go south on the Soi opposite the Caltex station. The Kosa is difficult to miss as is the IT store. khon kaen boy
As mentioned just look for Pullman (before was The Sofitel), tallest building in KK, and shopping centre is called Oasis very close to it Edited July 15, 2009 by khon kaen boy
mca
To avoid any confusion OP the 3 places mentioned are one and the same although it's commonly known as TukCom now. Basically they'll have anything and everything you need. Massive selection. Edited July 15, 2009 by mca
khon kaen boy
MCA, not being pedantic but most still call it Oasis and the Pullman the Sofitel
mca
For sure KKB. I just didn't want the OP to go wandering around Khon Kaen looking for 3 separate malls. On my first trip to KK and after completely losing my bearings on a number of songtaews I thought the back and front entrances to Fairy Plaza were two different shopping centres! jazzbo
Just look for the big eye-sore 20 story or so concrete un-completed abandoned building... TukCom is the bottom floor of that.
mca
I always glance at that place when driving past and think "That's gotta f#cking collapse one day."
