Juggling, Circus Skills, And Magic In Bangkok?

(Sorry if this cross post annoys anyone, but don't know this forum very well, and want to make sure I find ALL the people that can help)

Does anyone know of any Juggling/Circus Skills/Magic Clubs in Bangkok?

Other than Penguin, and the odd Thai entertainers that strangely appeared in the middle if Bangkok gogo shows a few years ago, I have not seen or heard of any myself.

Having been living in Bangok for 17 years, I have never really come across many people into performing magic, jugglers or people into circus skills such as unicycling, etc..

Since my girlfriend now owns a big restaurant near Tesco Lotus on Rama 4, with a very large open terrace, I am thinking it is a great opportunity to start a Circus Skills (and maybe Magic) Club, probably the first in Bangkok, maybe Thailand? (at least the first run by the Farang community).

Juggling was a big craze about 15-20 years ago, but I, along with a lot of others found other interests such as drinking in gogo bars ......

I am looking for some other people to help run it, as well as any people that just want to learn or even come watch for fun.

Most people don't realize it only takes about 20 minutes to teach 95% of people to juggle Once you learn, you never forget. It's always a good party trick (along with magic) too.

I have some juggling clubs, rings, juggling balls and a unicycle to get the ball rolling (no pun intended!), and am prepared to buy additional equipment if we get enough interest.

I also have a very detailed and extensive juggling tutorial video, as well as Coin and Card magic tutorial videos and books.

I hope this takes off, since apart from being fun and very social, the circus skills are also a chance to do some of that rare thing called exercise

I'd very much appreciate any information anyone can provide on this subject.

Please respond on this thread, or PM me if you are interested, or have any relevant information. Thanks

Sorry, cannot help on any of this thread, but I for one would definitely visit for the entertainment value (esp magic).

Great venue for a first date where small talk may be a bit limited. Do you remember Tum Nuk Thai (roller skating waiters)? Place was packed whenever I ate there many years ago. Not sure why they went under. What's the name / address (if you are allowed to post it)? I might drop by to check out the grub. Good luck in your endevours!
