That's just it though, You're not just looking for people, you're looking for christians. It's interesting how in an earlier post you said 'finding decent people to hang with would be nice' insinuating all christians are good people and the rest of us aren't worthy of your time and friendship. It would make a little bit of sense if you were looking for people to pray with, but you aren't, you said you have that on-line already, so basically you are only looking for people to socialise with, and you only want to socialise with christians. I wonder what JC would make of that! He would probably tell you to be a bit more open minded and to socialise with good, honest, decent people, regardless of their faith.

Yes, i also found the OP's initial post rather strange. You want to form a christian group but not to worship with, just 'decent' people to hang out with. I'm a decent person and i'm not christian. I'm a teacher. I teach English. I am an upstanding member of the community. I have a healthy outdoor hobby - sailing, and i give up my free time to work with a sailing club here in Phuket which actively promotes sailing particularly to disadvantaged Thai youths, though all are welcome. I also drink beer and have sex, but so did JC. I think i'm a decent person.

Frankly, i find the insinuation that i'm not decent because i m not christian to be quite offensive.

By the way, the proper, big, English language christian church is on Soi Thaling Chan in Phuket Town, not far from Soi Gomorrah 11.
