Jomtein Accommodation

Hello guys, OK. no doubt this has been asked many many times before and will probably be asked again. I am looking for a place that is reasonably cheap (lower than hotel prices, well lower than 500 Bahts a day, at least! )

Basically I heading for JOMTEIN for 3 weeks, from 20 September, and need a place I can chill out, must have shower (hot and cold water) kitchenette, fridge. Large bed, a/c(fan as well would be cool) somewhere to sit (and no not the floor ), oh and one of those safe thingys would be good to! i.e. like an apartment or condo, or even guest house that good and clean!

Just would like to have breakfast and a place to sit and have a cuppa tea, without having to go to a coffee house or restuarant all the time? so places in Jomtein would be great up around Soi 5, 6, 7 or even down at beginning of Jomtein from Pattaya, just before Soi 2.

So looking for you traveller that have visited many places and would reccommend a good establishment.

Even looked at the hostelin Pattaya/Jomtein, looks good from internet site, but wasn't sure about having guest back though?

So guess don't ask for much, but have trawled through loads of web sites and you can never reallt tell. Best getting info from fellow travellers.

in this "budget" range almost nobody bothers to list anymore. also includes many places in the jomtien area. cheers

I live in Jomtien Beach Condos and there are several available for rent. My GF just asked about one for her friend and it was 5,500 baht plus utilities for the month. Nice area with several restaurants, cleaners for clothes, barber shops, etc. Nice area with two swimming pools. PM me and I can send you the contact for a friend of mine who can put you in contact for rentals. The most I have ever seen is 10,000 for a month which would averate 300 a day.

Sometimes it s a better idea to find a furnished apartment with privacy and liberty to bring your friends on it than to go to an expansive hotel where you can't do what you want.

Most likely the rooms you mentioned are for long term rentals only - not for 3 weeks.

You can rent it for one month , then leave before the contract ends , I did this several times , its cheaper than daily or weekly rent anyway.

Just make sure you get your deposit back.
