I did a wire during USA Friday business hours, already after business hours in Thailand.

I wondered whether the Thailand (SCB) bank would credit the money over the weekend or on the following Monday. In the past if done on a weekday, it got into the Thai bank account the next day. This time, it was Monday.

By next day, I mean the very next day the Thai bank was open as the wires during weekdays I did happened after the Thai business hours.

So I am concluding the Thai banks wire offices do not operate over the weekend.

This doesn't surprise me at all but perhaps will help some people not get too antsy if doing a wire after Friday Thai business hours.
