Just because it was just the flu doesn't mean it was cureable. This young man fell in the prime age group of people who die from this flu his own immune system did the dirty deed. But what is the real story it seems we only have the families version of events.

I paid taxes in Europe for health care and it was better than 'managed health care' in the USA.

Better cheaper and less money grubbing too.

Remove the profit motive from health care... pretty simple idea.
