Looking For Family Room In Jomtien

Hello all.

My wife, I and 2 young children aged 5 and 2 will be visiting family in Jomtien but they are unable to accomodate us overnight so we will be looking for a family room in the area. We would prefer somewhere near Jontien beach and definately as far removed from the bar scene as you can get (if that is possible, I think you know what I mean!)

I was wondering if you could possibly recommend anywhere that is not going to break the bank.

You don't say what sort of budget / standard you're after.

For a cheap place try Surf International Hotel right on Jomtien Beach Road (between Soi 4 and 5 I think).

There's not much in the way of a bar scene in Jomtien so pretty much anywhere is OK.

Your best bet then is to have somewhere to stow your luggage, and walk around a bit to find the best deals. 600-700 Baht deals can be found, go to the very southern end of the beach road to get away from the bars and find better prices.

I just stayed here: http://www.botanybeach.com/ and while it is above your budget (we payed 1800/night), it is a very nice, and quiet resort. Its also not far from the Silverlake Winery.

You won't find a resort for the price you want, but you should be able to find a one or two star hotel.

Hello, you might want to try some web sites as the bar scene is not so intense at Jomtien. I have used latestays.com and passionasia.com in a recent way, and they have some customer comments so you will know more. Good luck and use good judgement when you choose a place there. Cheers.
