the scouser
Just a quick question. Nothing of any importance but I'm interested if there is a reason for my little problem which is:- Since I've activated Thai script on my computer (Windows XP) every time I display a website which includes a "£" sign a Thai character is displayed in its stead. Why? Cheers, Scouse.
johng
Maybe you could try changing the encoding in your browser setup from Thai to Western European, it should autoselect but seems to get confused sometimes. For internet Explorer its View -->Encoding --->Thai or Western European. Edited March 8, 2005 by johng

the scouser
Thanks chaps and thanks for putting it in pictures RDN. I checked out my encoding and it was shown as Western European ISO so I've changed it to Western European (Windows). Hopefully that'll do the trick. Scouse. lungbing
And here's me thinking that a thread with the title of 'Unwanted Thai Characters' was going to be about the Prime Minister.
