There is a huge art shop just down the road from the UN Irish Pub towards Thapae Gate. I can't remember the name but it has an artists pallette on the sign. It's three stories and you used to be able to pay 100 baht for a 10% discount card.

There's also two branches of Samut Lanna art supply/stationary shop along Chang Puak Road (one just a bit down a soi, one right on the road - sorry I can't be more specific, maybe someone else can). They are the best source in town for artist canvas rolls (they can order in custom canvas sizes for you too) and they have paints and supplies you may not find at the other two shops mentioned previously in this thread.
