Mailing Books

Can anyone tell me whether mailing textbooks from UK to Thailand is likely to be a problem. Not large quantities of the same for resale or anything. Just a personal, but sizeable, collection of teaching materials.

Yeah they might knock you for a silly amount of tax....then again they might not!

Hard to say, best though if you can have someone bring them over!

If you can have them mailed to your school, I think you have less chance of getting taxed...something about being for academic use.
