I had a gastroscopy and colonoscopy done at Rajavej by Professor Kannika 0816813366. I knew nothing about either procedure and was very satisfied with the outcome. I don't like Rajavej much, but was recommended to her by a surgeon at Ram surprisingly enough.

I also had a gall bladder removal done via lapararoscopy at Sripat 3 years ago by Dr Sandhu Trichak 0818813416. No problems since.

Prof Kannika is a gastroenterologist and Dr Trichak is a gastroenterology surgeon.

If your problem liver specific, maybe see a gastroenterologist rather than a surgeon.

Sorry that's about all I can offer - hope it might help. :)

Yes and no. Its on the same CMU campus but "Sripat" is the 14 or 15 story building where the Special Medical Service Center is located.

Oh Sripat is on the 13 floor of the mentioned building.

You can catch the elevator up there, turn left to register as new pt,

follow their direction to the GI clinic, then see your doctor.

If you do not want to waste your time waiting, it is recommended to make an appointment before hand

and make sure they give you the qeue.

Good luck.

Just to clarify a little further, in the unlikely case you don't know exactly where Sriphat is : It is on Thanon Suthep that runs from the north-south outer moat boundary road (Boonruangrit) west (directly across from the Suan Dok gate into the inner city across the moat) a long way up into the foothills of Doi Suthep. It is in the large complex, which is before (east of) the intersection with Nimmanheimen road.

It is near Wat Suan Dok, which is on the other (south) side of the road, but if you reach Wat Suan Dok, you have gone too far west.

Parking on the street can be difficult to impossible depending on time of day, but there is a public parking lot just at the western boundary of the medical complex. The western boundary of the complex that Sriphat is in is formed by Thanon Sirikmankarajan which cuts across from Thanon Suthep all the way to Huay Khaew going north.

From that parking lot walk toward the town (the moat), and the first very tall building you come to is Sriphat.
