i cant do you a list but there are lots of shops selling fish , tanks and general pet supplies along the street with the green line .

if they sell flowerhorns ive no idea coz i dont know what one is : (

ps .... if your looking for puppies theres a tiny soi ( read dirt track ) that loops behind these shops opposite the fire station .... puppies galore

There's a few in Khamtiang flower market (by Tesco) but the best one is the big place on the corner right across from the west side of Tesco. Forget the name but it's easy to spot. Big place with a good range of fish, tanks and other gear, plus they're quite knowledgeable.

As jackr says, the west side of Lotus Khamtien is a good bet - two large stores there. One on Atsadathon Road that drops south from the Superhighway - and another just outside the west wall surrounding Tesco Lotus. Probably best to have a Thai speaker with you - particularly for the first one.

The big place behind Tesco (in Kamtieng) that the others recommended has both gold fish and flower horns. Excellent variety, equipment and very knowledgeable staff. I can't think of their name either.
