I just got back to thailand from india and have heard about the problem with fake visas. Immigration at the airport didn't really look through my passport (usa). I have heaps of stamps, 5 years of stamps. Stamped me in and that was that... but now that I am here, I hear all kinds of stories, so i ended up today at this forum.

Only once about 6 months ago I used a service in chiang mai.

I don't see anywhere on this forum a list of fake visa stamp numbers...

1) is there such a list?

2) how can anyone know if they have a fake visa or not?

is there a list to refer to? I see there is post saying sadao b008 is fake. any other ones fake?

3) I once used a service in chiang mai (about 6 months ago) and the entry is from chiang saen. Are entry visa's from chiang sen suspect?

Having just spent 5 days in a Thai jail cell I can tell you my undestanding is that the offence is being in Thialand on a fake stamp.

From what I am able to understand it doesn't apply to past indicretions, only the current entry.
