Chaturon denies being recruited to lead the red shirts

Barred party executive Chaturon Chaisang on Friday dismissed the speculation about an offer for him to lead the red shirts.

"I have never been approached nor I have any thoughts about the job," he said.

Chaturon said he was in no position to comment on reports about the red-shirt leadership in disarray. He said he had no involvement in the matter.

Surely they have Jatuporn, Nattawut and Veera leading in one camp and Jakrapob and Surachai in the other smaller camp and Giles in the very small other camp, or is this looking for a leader who cna unite all three in which case Chachuron would be a good choice but probably not really want the headaches.

Is it a red shirt virus that everyone seems to fall in some sort of state of denial...?

Noppadon seems to suffer most!

In bright daylight this guy is going to insist it's dark!

what you are talking about?

Compulsive Denying, whatever - like their great Overlord "I retire from politics!"...

or in the Al Jazeera Interview: "Do you support them (the redshirts)?"..... :)

"United front against democracy"!.....

Lest we forget Chaisit Shinawattra who is hoping for and in total support a coup next week. Of course Jatuporn seems to have "inside information" about this as well. With that said, how can they now call themselves as being for democracy? They never were for democracy in the first place, IMHO. People on the board have screaming that treason charges be brought against those from the 2006 coup. In the event a coup were to occur next week, will they say the same against UDD and the reds? I highly doubt it.
