While browsing some jobs on a online recruiting service this sentence caught my attention :

"Thai National or must be legally able to work in Thailand without the company having to obtain a work permit."

worth a laugh!

And without quoting names i must say it's not a thai company...

I haven't laughed out loud so loudly in a long time.

It's like seeing an ad in the Brownsville, Texas newspaper that would say (perhaps in Spanish, 'mojados') - "Wanted for hard labor, ten hours per day in the sun - wetbacks! Or any Anglo willing to work for wetback wages."

My apologies for using the term, but I had a Mex-Tex certified accountant try to claim a taxable deduction in 1986 for 'wet labor.'

TizMe found it! :o

I think in Thailand wetbacks is a must unless you have a air-cond. near :D

Of course the meaning is not the same as in Texas :D
