Korean man arrested for stealing drinking water in Pattaya

PATTAYA: -- A South Korean man described to be drunk was arrested after he was spotted breaking into a grocery store and coming out with a drinking water bottle and two bottles of instant coffee.

The man, identified as Lee Sung Hook, was arrested at 2 am shortly after vendors at the Mae Wilai Market saw him using a stone to break the window of the shop on Central Pattaya Road.

The man claimed that he was hungry.

He was detained at the Pattaya police station pending further investigation.

Lol, Unfortunately he isn't in the nicest place in the world for looking kindly on making minor mistakes... Hopefully the shop owner will only want 'compensation' and be more compassionate than the police.

It is the fault of the tessabaan.If they would repair the streets and clean them the man would not have been able to find a big stone in front of the shop to break the window.I know it was not mentioned that the stone was big but it prtobably was.

If he'd been only a little more drunk there would have been a high probability of the rock flying into one of the always open 7-11s that are situated every 30 meters and his holiday wouldn't be ruined.

Wee obviously need more 7-11s to prevent this kind of needless tragedy happening again

Plead temporary insanity! Works for murderers in discos where none of the two hundred 'saw what happened' or those who run down and kill pedestrians in road rage - oh - and perhaps run to the nearest temple, shave your head and do penance for a month and all will be forgiven - of course, after the mandatory costs for the inconvenience caused to the brown shirts. You will be deported anyway so no issue.

Good for the Koh Samed Koreans, say I! I could clearly make a fortune by culling all the nuisance strays around here (not a million miles from Koh Samed as it happens) and exporting the carcasses to Korea, were I so minded!!
