Aloysius
Where in bangkok is a good place to shop for a 18 carat gold wedding ring. I am getting tired with these gold shops everywhere that sell 23 carat gold rings who just don't look right (to yellow) and are way to soft so they scratch easily. Name of the store: Petch Anyarat, Dazzle Zone, 1st Floor Good selection, very competitive prices and absolutely trustworthy. They speak excellent English. Like most jewelery stores the might be closed on Mondays.

Yes, you are right on both accounts, mine is always going non-round..even from a handshake. However Thais don't call 18carat real gold..whatever you do don't buy that quality for your loved one. Latindancer
Pardon my ignorance, but is there such a thing as a 21 or 22 carat ring ? I would have thought that just a tiny bit of alloy in with the gold would make it harder. I will be in the market for a gold ring in the next few months, myself.
