My wife has to register the birth of our child before Friday. If he is registered using my wifes surname, can we change it to my surname at a later time? If yes, is this procedure easy or stressful?

From what I undertsand it is easy to change your lastname in Thailand:

Yes it is as we have done it.

But the name on the birth cert will remain the same.
