90 Day Report Due Today & Leaving Los On The 15th

Featured Replies

The title says it all: I live 30 minutes away from Suvarnabhumi and going to Chaeng Wattana just for a stamp is pure insanity. I know there's a 7 days window for the report, but I think it won't apply to this case. The report is due today (12th) and I'm leaving on the 15th. Missing 3 days.

I read some posts saying that most of the times officers at the airport don't really check the report~ and anyway the max fine is 2000 (although that clause said 200 baht per day). Basically going to Chaeng Wattana will cost me as much as paying the fine (assuming it's 3x200= 600 baht).

What should I do? Go there and get the stamp? Just hope the officer doesn't notice it OR eventually pay the fine?

I don't think they are going to keep me at Suvarnabhumi and check all the stamps and stuff just for missing a 90 day report... i would expect them to ask me to pay an high fine though...

Your report date is the 12th. The 7 day window takes you to the 19th as latest possible report date. You are leaving the country on the 15th. You do not need to do anything. Immigration will retain your TM6 departure card on leaving which will effectively act as your report. The 90 day clock will start again when you re-enter Thailand, the day of re-entry being counted as Day 1.

For future reference exe it's a fine plus 200 baht per day not just a straight 200 baht. Usually the fine is a flat 2000 baht no matter how late you report but immi do have the legal right to charge you more.

Although as thaphoon said you've got no worries as you're within the 7 day window which counts either side of the due reporting date.

Thanks guys.

Just don't wanna argue with the officer if he/she unintentionally forgets the 7 days window rule... :)

Thanks again.

"Immigration will retain your TM6..." ????

I've departed Thailand four times so far this year, once at Swampy, twice at Nong Khai, and once at Huey Khon, Nan. No one pulled my TM6 and I can't really see any reason for them to do so.

Is this supposed to be a practice of Immigration at border control points?

Apart from the fact it's your "departure" card Mac? :)

May I suggest that the OP removes the last reporting slip from his PP (but keep it!)?

They never ask for it at the airport but if inside PP they may stumble on it.

Oops!! My bad. I was surely thinking of the "90-day report slip" since that was what most of the thread was about. I just don't remember the form numbers, do remember the names.

How about my U.S. Army serial number, do remember that from lots of years ago, and I was only in for two years.
