Not sure if this is the right place to post this but here goes anyway:

I am married to a Thai and have a four month old son. He has been included on the "tabien bahn" and now has his Thai birth certificate. I have been told be a couple of people that I now have to go to the local amphur office and register myself there as his father or I have no legal rights for my child. Apparently this is true for Thais also and the birth certificate is not a legally binding document.

Is this true, has anyone done this and what documents to I need ???

Thanks in advance for your help.

You should be named on the "tabien bahn" as the father.
