You should be able to buy the joist hangers at Global House by the airport turn off in Khon Kaen, failing that there is another store in Khon Kaen city centre who may very well stock both Items. The girls in the office are very helpful and speak good English (not sure about German), the lat/long for the shop is 16 degrees 25 minutes 51.85 seconds N, 102 degrees 50 minutes 03.00 seconds E. Type those coordinates into Google Earth and it will take you right to it.
