Obtaining Livestock

Featured Replies

Are there any livestock markets (chickens, geese ect) in Chiang Mai?

Loi Kroh RD it has all kinds of "live stock"

Yes they might have some gobblers on Loi Kroh but you need to get further out to find what the op is looking for.

There is a place in CM where they have a bunch of shops selling mostly dogs and birds I believe the area is called Hai Ya ( at least thats how it sounds to me) any way there is a shop on the street right next to the entrance to Hai Ya and the old man there sells rabbits and birds and I've also seen ducklings, goslings, guinea keets and chickens at various times. He doesn't have them all the time but if you have someone ask him and they are available he will get them for you.

But getting a gobbler on Loi Kroh road is a sure thing.

Bought a couple of cows just up from the 15 klms market on the Mae-on Highway (Thursday mornings)

Let your Thai Foreman do the deal... :) and you ignore him...in the most polite possible way..

of course

Other markets further north and over towards Lampang but hard to explain where.
