Unable To Change Personal Photo

Question.......Is there another step to changing personal photo besides the obvious?

I have changed it a few times now & it always reverts to the old photo.

Even if I delete it & revert to the basic forum supplied one.

Yet if I return to the my controls it shows the new photo in the change personal photo section. But the personal photo in use in the upper left corner is in fact still the old one. I do of course save settings etc before exiting. & like I said the new photo shows in the change personal photo section.

I then go back upload new & it shows it has accepted. But after going back into forum & then returning it has reverted to the deleted photo.

Not important but odd & I wondered why. All other controls, sig line, avatar etc seem to work fine.

Have you tried to clear your internet cache and use CTRL+F5?

Yes I have cleared my cache & many times. Also tried a different browser bot to no avail.\

Like I said I can set it to the default but if I add anything even though it shows accepted it reverts to old photo even if previously deleted. The problem is on the forum side.

The problem appears to me to be that photo is stored on TV

If a mod would be so kind as to delete it I'm sure I would then be able to change it.

Any possibility of getting that done?

Not sure if this may help, but here is what I would try:

Delete current photo then actually log-out from TV for a period (probably over night) and clear cache.

Next day log-in and see what is there. If nothing just upload a new photo, if the old one shows up then only admin/mods can help.

Thanks opal...yes I tried that yesterday too.

The odd thing is I delete it & log off clear cache etc.

Later or next day log on upload new photo shows fine etc....

Then I check back to my controls & see the old pic LOL

Seems to be stored on TV as far as I can tell.

So I guess it is my friend or the generic guy.

Maybe I will try him for longer

I replied to the email too & let them no it didn't work.

It did blow out the little Thai script I had in the sig though.

Now when I try to re-add it I get a sig too long message.

Odd as it was there before.

No problems umbrella girl will have to stay

That is ok I see after the 2nd tech try my avatar was gone too.

So I went & updated/changed that avatar & guess what?

My old avatar came back.

Same as the umbrella pal she is back too.

No biggie like I told support this must be a sign to leave it as is.
