I don't believe that the tape records the actual mesurement of the erected penis circumference, but more likely indicates what is the ideal size of an unrolled condom that one should use... And don't forget condoms very high extensibility.   :)

ahh yes, one of the two benefits a Thai woman gets from shagging a farang old enough to be her father - weekly pocket money and a bigger penis (well, when the viagra kicks in anyway) - isn't life wonderful :D

V just gives me heartburn, I'm sure I'm being fobbed off with Chinese fakes.

Heartburn is a well recognised and common side effect of all viagra, cialis, levitra, etc. - both original and generic; headache too -but the trade off is well worth it -don't you think? Very cheap and effective Thai Antacid tablets (Antacil -5baht) are on the counter of most Thai pharmacies and most other minimarts and shops (but not 7/11) so heartburn/indigestion must be, I think, a common complaint suffered by many Thais, I think, through eating so much chilli. Chilli gives me heartburn. SERIOUSLY though, as you were not aware of this side effect, you should make yourself aware of other more dangerous and possibly fatal consequences of using these drugs for certain individuals, certain health conditions, and/or certain lifestyles. So please please ask a doctor, and, if you can, read up online, to make sure they are safe for you to use.

Well you might have qualified that in the first place by saying "All gay Asian men" instead of all Asian men, and please tell us exactly what constitutes "below average" in your experience :)

I first thought that scale is diameter, but after looking on our caliper I doubt that. Thai men would be monster.

Than I took the size /3.14: 56/3.14=17.8 mm that looks too small.

What mistake did I made???

I have the same confusion. "Width" surely means diameter as you interpret, too, but that would make Thai men comparable to horses.

Circumference of 56 mm is not realistic either.

The 49 - 56 mm is not the width of the penis, it is the width of the condom needed...

So the circumference of the condom is double these sizes as the condom is rolled out and measured when it is flat. :)

"Safe Sex" with a Condom is just one other "urban myth", cause they can slip off easely anyime and not being felt/detected...

there is only one type of "safe sex" = NONE!

Are you relative of the pope or G.W. Bush? :)

Sex is the best anti-depressive when shared with the one you love!!!

So if you and your partner have only one exclusive partner, have a test and enjoy without rubber :D

(then your concern would be about contraceptive method...)

I am glad to see this topic as I have had a lot of trouble ever since I have been here.I use the biggest condoms I have been able to find [56 durex] and was with the help of my girlfriend,and I still find it very uncomfortable to put them on and they easily slide off and leave them inside her.This is to say the least a bit embarrassing!!! The measurement is the circumference of the penis and I do not consider myself to be so well endowed as to boast about it.Any help here? thanks Dougal

If it slides off then it is too big for you. I use the larger (56) myself and if I for example would ever use a smaller one it is like being strangled and once it is on it is on very snug, i.e. very hard to accidentally rub off...or jank of with force...

Good! At least one happy and contented customer/user it seems. :)

I have to custom order all my condoms from Africa just to get one big enough. :)

I know a guy in Scotland who uses natural lamb intestine condoms. Out in the pasture he tries them on one by one until he finds one the right size...

Why is it always important to claim to have a big penis when all Thai women that I've spoken to tell me that big is positively the worst size to be for them? I get an 'average' size when I ask and they always tell me that is the best size to be. I guess it makes as much sense as all my Farrang friends telling me that all of the women they pull sleep with them for free despite the Farrang pulling them from bars in Nana. This also reminds me of a conversation that I recently had with a Farrang which went " my girlfriend had a regular job before we met ..." he didnt realise that I was one of her customers before! Farrang, wake up and smell the coffee, you are not all hung like a donkey but thats a good thing!...and try not to live a life of self delusion!

A man goes into a drug store and asks the cashier for some condoms. The cashier asks, "What size?"

The man replies, "Size? I didn't know they came in sizes."

"Yes, they do," she says, "What size do you want?"

so condom size is meassured as 'width' of condom (can be meassured when flat as in the pack) & typically comes in 49-60mm sized with 52mm being 'global default' size & 54-60mm being 'large'. this 'elastic' meassure corresponds to a circumferance of double length i.e. 98-120mm!

thus the advertised thai meassure of 49-56mm is in the average too large region although stats suggest SEA men have below average sizes (49mm size being typical size in TH) & everything as 'large sizes'.

from personal experience availibility of condom sizes in LOS is indeed restricted to 49-56mm exactly even with the 'foreign brands' of 'comfort condoms', durex etc as well as local/asian brands...

a shame really that it's not easily marketed on the condom packs which size it is e.g. XS, S, M, L, XL etc or at least the mm width which as mentioned often only can be read in small print somewhere on the back in the lower corner or such!
