Quite Morning In Thailand

This has to be one of the most quietest mornings in CM in memory.

Seemed like I was in the Colorado mountains. The view of the stars

the mountains, the condo guard did not have his radio playing, no motorbikes

the soi dogs in CMU we not defending their territory. I forgot how

peaceful silent was. Everything was still. Only thing I could hear was

the wind blowing though the palms. A cup of hot coffee long pants and

sporting a flannel shirt, haaaaa what a wonderful chilly morning.

It made me miss home for a few minutes, but the thought of Monday morning sales meetings brought me back to SEA.

Now the sun his coming up and I hear some

motorbikes in the distance the condo guards are changing shifts and talking loud and 2 dogs are fighting.

Fun trip and I did not have to sit on a jet for 12 hours. I'll still take Thailand anyday.

All these idyllic descriptions sound like every day in my little Isaan village. (Before 4 a.m. when the monks sound the temple gong for prayer, and 5:00 a.m. when all the roosters start competing, and 6:00 a.m. when the town loudspeakers crank up with the daily propaganda). Sigh. :)

Wonderful morning. No barking dogs, no rush to audit a tax return or manage 15 employees. Cool - running pants, long sleeves. No blaring music. Too cold to swim, but that's true in Chicago in May.

PB, You were an IRS agent?

For me, every morning is quite a morning
