Hi,

I arrived in Thailand few weeks ago on a 30 days stamp on arrival. I am a EU passport holder.

I know that in the past it was possible to extend the 30 days by either 7 or 15 days, is that correct? Or is it just 7 days?

And as I m not sure if the 30 days stamp is an actual visa or not, what is the form to fill in to extend my 30-days stay? Is it also the TM 7?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Cheers!

Thanks for the reply!

I went there this morning and boy, the new immigration is far! So it costs much more in tax fare.

On the plus side, the process was much smoother than in suan plu and the place was not overcrowded like in the older place. I was out of there in a bit under than an hour. Or then I was just lucky and it was a quiet day?

Cheers!

Do I have to print out the forms, or can I just get one when I get there? I need a 30 day extension tomorrow, first time I'll have done it here.

Why does it take an hour? Surely its just a quick read through and stamp, I know this is Thailand...

You can get and fill out form there is you want - have photo and 1,900 baht - expect they may need phtocopies of your passport data/arrival. You are in a queue system so the time will depend on how many there are ahead of you. Information has to be input in computer system and records/receipt made
