thaimite
Not Thailand related, but I wanted to share. After trying many Linux BitTorrent programs (Deluge, Vuze, Transmission and even uTorrent under Wine with my Ubuntu setup, I was not really happy with any of them. Then about 2 months ago I came across QbitTorrent that states it wants to be the uTorrent of Linux. ("Easy to use, good looking, featureful but lightweight".) I was very impressed with the original version and over that time there have been numerous improvements and addons. Yesterday I posted an email to the developer suggesting a feature that I would like to see implemented, and after some correspondence asking how the feature should operate I was told that it will be included very soon. If you download torrents in Linux give QbitTorrent a try. I am sure you will not be disappointed Current version is 1.5.6, and Version 2.0 is imminent. burgerqueen
I have been using libtorrent.rakshasa.no for a couple of months now. It is very light as it is cli based. rtorrent - ncurses BitTorrent client based on LibTorrent from rakshasa Once you have read the fine manual and have a hold on the keybindings, it becomes a real pleasure. You can also command it through your webbrowser after installing an extention. I am running it on a Debian Sid kind of system, but it should run on any distribution.
