Korat To Pattaya Direct Flights?

Featured Replies

I have been trying to find a direct flight from korat to Pattaya, is it possible? Can't seem to locate anything on the net or on the forum.

There is no flight from Pattaya to Khorat. :o

AirAsia was flying the Bangkok-Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat) route for a while last year but dropped it due to lack of business. Are there currently commercial flights from Nakhon Ratchasima to anywhere?

As you say AirAsia used to do the route..........dont think there are any flights out of Khorat now.

Too much competition from the air con Bor Kor Sor buses plus the RTAF were also complaining about commercial flights from what is an active airbase. I once flew the route when Thai were using B737s on it back in ther early nineties. Really quick flight with just about enough time to pass the sandwiches out. I seem to remember the cruising altitude was 12000ft.

travlling. Check out www.asiatravel.com

They are still offering flights from Korat to Bangkok for 4840 baht return with Thai Airways. Don't think you save any time however if you are going to Pattaya. I normally do it in not much over 4 hours in the pick up.

If so, they might want to think about updating their website. THAI hasn't flown this route for several years. :o

I/m with you on this one ovenman...........i/m positive Thai Airways dont do this route.....and considering BKK to Udorn is only 3570 baht return with them , Khorat seems a tad expensive.

I thought the Air Force used the old airport which is close to town and that commercial aviation had the new airport all to itself? The new airport feels like it's half-way to Buriram when going to/from it. :o

Thai stopped flying the route years ago and then Air Andaman took it over before it went to Phuket Air. Thai have code shared on domestic flights to places like Buriram (with Air Andaman) and Nakon Panom (I bought tickets for the PB Air flight from the Thai office in Nakon Panom and it had a Thai flight prefix and I got my air miles).
