Hmm..actually, it can be done. I can do it, but in a non-smooth way. I imagine its a bit like the rub head and belly thing...I perfected that one as a kid.

If you draw the number 6 backward, i.e. start drawing the number from where you typically finish drawing it, the foot doesn't change direction.

I must be "special" can do it just fine.

Neat , 1st try made my foot swing the other direction
